This papers deals with linguistic pathologies in ancient Greece, especially in Aristotle. All the author and literary text before Aristotele (Herodotus, Plato and so on) are considered. In the Corpus Aristotelicum there several passages about aphasia. Probl. , books x and XI are particularly relevant. In the biological works we read that little children , when they learn language , stutter. They behave, then as people affected by psellotes and traulotes.
